Refunds & cancellations

These terms apply to professional fintech audit engagements with Connectivity Clouds. They do not describe product returns or shipping—we do not sell physical goods or software subscriptions through this site.

Eligibility

Fees paid under a signed engagement letter may be refunded in whole or in part according to the timing of cancellation and how much fieldwork has already occurred. Website form submissions alone do not create a chargeable engagement.

Timeframe to request

Cancellation or refund requests should be sent in writing to hello@connectivityclouds.digital within seven days of the event giving rise to the request, or sooner if your engagement letter states a tighter window.

Full refund

If you cancel before we begin the document pull and before any fieldwork day is scheduled, prepaid fees are refunded in full minus any non-refundable travel booked at your written request.

Partial refund

If scoping and document review have begun but on-site or remote fieldwork has not, we refund the unused portion after deducting time already spent at the rates in the engagement letter. If fieldwork has started, fees for completed days and drafted findings are non-refundable; remaining prepaid amounts for unused days may be refunded.

Non-refundable items

• Completed fieldwork days and issued draft or final findings memos
• Third-party travel or venue costs already incurred with your approval
• Deposits marked non-refundable in the engagement letter to reserve a compressed examination-week slot

Refund process & timing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen business days of written approval. Bank transfer refunds may take longer depending on your institution.

Cancellation & rescheduling

You may reschedule fieldwork once without fee if you give at least ten business days’ notice and we have capacity. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee stated in the engagement letter. We may cancel for safety, access failure, or unpaid invoices; in those cases prepaid unused fees are refunded.

Deposits & no-shows

Deposits secure calendar time. If your team is unavailable on confirmed fieldwork days without timely notice (“no-show”), the deposit for those days is forfeited. We will offer one make-up window when calendars allow.

Work already started & materials

Draft notes prepared during an engagement remain part of our working papers. Final memos already delivered remain yours to use under the engagement letter. Purchased reference materials ordered specifically for your engagement are non-refundable once ordered.

Exceptions

Mandatory cooling-off rights under Taiwanese law, where applicable to consumers, take priority over this page. Business-to-business engagements follow the signed letter first.
